Laser treatment often brings about redness and swellings combined with pain and tension of the skin. After healing of the visible external skin changes like crusts, redness and swellings, the skin should be protected against UV-light for at least 4 weeks.

At this point, the therapeutic success mainly depends on the aftercare and post-treatment, particularly if the treatment splits up into several treatment days. To realize a fast regeneration, it is important to sooth und cover the affected areas of the skin. It is also recommended to cool the affected area for over a longer period of time and add a soothing cream. Additionally, the loss of moisture by the skin should be balanced. But all these recommendations together are extremely difficult to implement in the long run.

For me, the use of epi nouvelle+ naturelle is a very good form of post-treatment. epi nouvelle+ naturelle is a sterile and moist pad that is easily applied to the treated skin area. It supports the fast relaxation of the skin, reduces pain/itching, has no side-effects and meets perfectly the requirements for post-treatment that are mentioned above.

Ideally, soothing agents and drugs can be added to the pad and enable an additional treatment effect. The use of epi nouvelle+ naturelle is very good after laser therapy. It improves the quality of life for these patients and ensures a lower abort rate for post-treatment.
